Haldenwang, 30 August 2018. The Advisory Board of the MAHA Group is delighted to inform you that a decision was made at the Advisory Board meeting on 9 August 2018 for the MAHA Group Management Board to be expanded by two additional managing directors as of 1 October 2018.
The former member of the Advisory Board and Board of Trustees, Dr Thomas Aubel, will be switching to operational management on 1 October 2018. Dr Aubel will be responsible for domestic and international sales, the sales subsidiaries and the MAHA service company AutomoTec. Furthermore, he will deal with association work and public tenders. In working with Dr Aubel, we have succeeded in utilising a highly experienced and well-networked specialist for the management of the MAHA Group.
We were able to hire Mr Michael Amann for the commercial areas (finance, controlling, human resources, IT etc.), the subsidiary Gudat, the software development and the central services. Mr Amann is 40 years old and his career as a business consultant, controlling manager/commercial manager and designated commercial director of a mechanical engineering company in Allgäu has provided him with plenty of experience in business. In the past, Mr Amann and Mr Fuchs, the current sole director of the MAHA Group, have throughout many years of trustworthy cooperation proven that they can successfully ensure the development of a company. We are certain that the future cooperation with the three managing directors will succeed in guiding the MAHA Group into an auspicious future. Mr Amann will lend us the certainty that the chosen path can also be pursued in the long term.
The position in the Advisory Board and Board of Trustees that will be free following Dr Aubel’s switch to management will be filled by Prof. Bernhard Schick. Prof. Schick (55) is a mechanical engineer and research professor for driving dynamics and automated driving at the Kempten University of Applied Sciences. His background includes working as an engineer at TÜV Süd, IPG Automotive in Karlsruhe and the AVL List in Graz. He also boasts a strong knowledge of the industry, and his up-to-date research activities in the automotive field will allow him to provide the MAHA Group with a high consulting competence in the future strategic orientation. Furthermore, we can intensify the cooperation with the university and improve future access to qualified young talent.
