When we look back to our humble beginnings, it becomes clear just how far we’ve come up until now. What started out in 1969 as a two-man business is now an internationally successful company. We cover the entire spectrum in the vehicle testing and lifting technology segments and have long since been setting standards worldwide.

But what is it that drives us?

Top service and “made in Germany” ingenuity. All of this is part and parcel of MAHA’s DNA. And all of this makes us the world market leader in workshop and vehicle testing equipment.

  • The first car brake tester is developed and produced

  • MAHA is founded by Winfried Rauch and Josef Schilling

  • The first production site is built

  • Construction of the new building that is today’s main production site

  • Takeover of Hetra International AG, a manufacturer of mobile wheel engaging column lifts

  • The foundation stone of MAHA USA is laid in Pinckard, Alabama

  • Takeover of SLiFT GmbH, a manufacturer of pit jacks and in-ground lifts

  • AutomoTec GmbH, MAHA’s service and factory customer service arm, is founded

  • MAHA-AIP GmbH & Co. KG is founded / Disposal (2017)

  • MAHA kits TÜV TURK out with 459 test lanes at 189 locations

  • MAHA is incorporated into a foundation; the company’s future is thus secured in the long term

  • Europe’s most state-of-theart powder coating plant is opened; MAHA is crowned “World Market Leader 2016” in the Workshop and Vehicle Testing Equipment category

  • MAHA is again awarded the “World Market Leader” title in 2018 in the Workshop and Vehicle Testing Equipment category

  • AutomoTec GmbH is reintegrated into MAHA; the MAHA SERVICE CENTER undergoes global expansion
