MAHA TCS Tachograph Test Device Approved

MAHA TCS Tachograph Test Device Approved

MAHA UK has received – in cooperation with Semmler GmbH – the authorization to operate the TCS measurement device with the IW 7 Eurosystem brake tester from VOSA, the English testing organization.

In the past the test procedure could only be carried out on a powerfulIy running test stand which had to be installed in a special test hall. This approach was dangerous, time-consuming, costly and the results extremely inaccurate.

MAHA UK, Time Instruments Ltd. and Semmler GmbH concentrated their skills and worked on being able to offer truck workshops holistic solutions: the MAHA TCS tachograph test device which is operated on the MAHA brake tester is easy to use, efficient to the highest degree and offers extremely accurate results. The menu-driven test sequence provides the test procedures and print out formats required specially for Great Britain.

A simple, fast and highly reliable test is guaranteed and truck workshops see an opportunity to further expand their service offerings.

The test unit, consisting of brake and tachograph test in one roller set, always evokes deep interest in Great Britain and will soon delight customers, claims Neil Ebbs, Managing Director of MAHA UK. And Time Instruments Managing Director Brian Graham, is excited about the fact that with the newly approved method, truck manufacturers now have the chance to use the identical testing system in their workshops which is already offered in other countries.

Time Instruments Ltd. will take over the task of training workshop personnel and authorization of the workshops.
