A massive construction boom, an expanding manufacturing economy and a flourishing trade and service sector - this is the way the Arab Gulf states presented themselves during the visit of the Bavarian Minister of Economics Martin Zeil, with a 40-member business delegation to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Klaus Burger, Managing Director of MAHA GmbH & Co. KG Haldenwang was part of the delegation and recognized great opportunities for MAHA in this development.

The sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates invest heavily in infrastructure and research. Spread across the entire country there are gigantic construction projects underway for culture and motorsport worth several hundred billion US$. Although the UAE can be considered very rich, a large part of the know-how and technology needed must be imported. And this is where the gigantic opportunities lie for Bavarain companies. This trend holds real potential for MAHA. And the expansion of the long standing presence in the Middle East (UAE and Qatar) can be further developed.

And then there is the focus placed on the FIFA 2022 World Cup which will be held for the first time in a desert state. This great challenge will provide many Bavarian companies with huge sales because their enormous high quality awareness regarding staff skills, supplied products and services rendered are sought and appreciated in Qatar.
MAHA has long been established in UAE and Qatar as manufacturer, supplier and service partner. And now is the right time to deepen the business relationships and expand the market share. Because there where the economy grows in leaps and bounds, innovative complete solutions are needed the most. And this is MAHA’s strength, which ultimately defines the company’s success.
