Albania · Safety with MAHA Equipment
The entire contract was awarded to SGS SA. With MAHA as technology partner, all test centers have been equipped so that they correspond with the European test standards. The SGS project manager, Mr. Bernd Baumgartel, was also responsible for the Ireland project and got to learn and appreciate MAHA’s quality and professionalism. Working together with Velmar Albania, the Albanian MAHA partner on site, the Albanian requirement profiles can be fully met. MAHA, supplier of test equipment and service partner has enormous global experience.
And in Albania safety, quickness and maximum efficiency are in the forefront. 250,000 vehicles should be tested in the first year. The computer-controlled and fully automatic test procedure guarantees maximum testing safety and efficiency.
In addition personnel on site are thoroughly trained in the technology and test procedures of the MAHA equipment. MAHA started delivery in October 2009. The ordered systems were produced up through Spring 2010 and were delivered at the agreed upon date without any delays. For the renovation of the 14 existing test centers MAHA supplied:
