MAHA is present with the MSR 1000

Every 2 years the vehicle fine tuner turns its companies premises into a huge event arena for 2 days. The ninth version of this event offered something for everyone: a mix of noble tuning automobiles, motor sport activities, stars, parties and shows fascinated both young and old.

In the ABT Sportsline development hall, engineers displayed motors and showed various test situations which motors have to pass before they can be delivered to automobiles in the well-known ABT quality.

And this is where the MSR 1000, MAHA's single roller performance dynamometer developed specially for testing of sport vehicles, can be found. (here shown testing of the 700 HP ABT RS6). The dynamometer equipped with 4 rollers is ideal for a vehicle's 4 wheels to “ride“ on top of during the testing procedure- an essential prerequisite for testing low lying vehicles. Conventional double roller dyno's are unsuitable due to limited ground clearance.
The possible RPM range of the vehicle wheels – from 0 - 320 km/h – indicates a real racer. Maximum testable power which the MSR 1000 can control are 550 kW (ca. 750 HP) per driven axle, which means 1,500 HP with 4 wheel drive vehicles.
